Federal National Authority approves a report on the recommendations of the Federal Tax Authority’s policy

The Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, during its virtual meeting held today (Tuesday) headed by His Excellency Saeed Rashid Al-Abdi, Chairman of the Committee, approved the report on the recommendations of the Federal Tax Authority’s policy regarding the application of value-added tax and excise tax, which the Council discussed in its ninth session. On April 24th. The committee concluded by adopting four recommendations for the topic discussed by the Council in accordance with the Authority’s general policy axis in managing, collecting and implementing federal taxes. The members of the committee participated in the meeting, His Excellency Khalid Omar Al Kharji, the committee’s rapporteur, Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the Council, Aisha Rashid Laitem, Marwan Obaid Al Muhairi, and Mona Khalifa Hammad, members of the Federal National Council.
